MY RESEARCH INTEREST ELSEWHERE!
As a secondary school educator in the Niger Delta region of
my country, I observed how hard learners managed to decide their future
ambitions.
They are observably not confident with their decisions.
Recently, I found out that there is the possibility of
parental influence on the decisions these lads are making and which they may
likely live with for the rest of their lives.
What shapes this conclusion of mine was the reaction coming
from a somewhat 'arithmetic-phobic' learner presenting herself at a science
class session. Her countenance shows she is not in for this all by herself.
So I accosted her and she declared her coming to the science
was her father's...
This may not be true with other learners. Thus, I am looking
forward to establishing a research in this area to establish the positivities
and the negativities of parental influence on the decisions of their children
in relations to their future ambitions.
Sure, I might have not framed this well. Every help will be
appreciatively welcomed, lol!
